<h1>Job Title</h1>Data Scientist <h1>Job Purpose</h1>We’re building a new SaaS product to help the world better understand social media. We’re using our state-of-the-art AI system. We want a versatile and curious data scientist to join our team. Ideally, you’re comfortable not only creating ML systems and NLP but also curious about new forms of modeling including advanced statistics and even agent-based modeling.&nbsp; <h1>Job Duties and Responsibilities</h1><ul><li>Work with an international team to develop new insights and NLP models, largely in the social media space</li><li>Lead social media analytics&nbsp;</li><li>Write fully testable, high-quality code</li><li>Engage in discussions about data ethics with founders and stakeholders</li><li>Ability to complete sophisticated analytics projects where you have to resolve salient questions in a sophisticated ecosystem and present action-oriented conclusions</li></ul> <h1>Required Qualifications</h1><ul><li>English required. Knowledge of Slovak, Croatian, or other Slavic languages is a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>Self-starter, creative, teachable, and independent.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of APIs and AWS and Azure.</li><li>Knowledge of MongoDB.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of statistics, specifically experimental design, and analysis.</li><li>Prior working experience with scripting, preferably in Python.</li><li>Knowledge of network analysis packages and Network analysis statistics.</li><li>Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data.</li></ul> <h1>Preferred Qualifications</h1><ul><li>Expertise in NLP</li><li>Expertise in modeling and simulation (agent-based models and system dynamics models in NetLogo, AnyLogic, or other platforms)</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.</li><li>Knowledge of integration with backend analytics tools and data pipelines (in AI or data science preferred).&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of recursive (fractal) mathematics a plus</li></ul>﻿<h1>Experience</h1>2+ years of experience in a professional analytics/data science capacity. <h1>Working Conditions</h1>CulturePulse is hiring for its new European expansion.
